So, September doesn't suck, but it does a bit just because most plants are coming to a close. It's more of a transition period...into WINTER. Ugh, and I do hate winter.
Powdery mildew. You can combat it for a while by chopping off leaves, but at some point it just takes over. I got MORE than enough zucchini though, so I can't really complain. Thank you plants.
Next year I need to plant a whole bed of edamame. This is also butternut squash. I think it goes through phases of focusing on leaf growth and then crop growth. True? not sure, but I am still getting squash despite its appearance.
Free Jade plant. I am not a fan of these when they get big and overbearing, but at it's small size it's quite beautiful.
